Jim is the second generation and started in Mid Ulster in 1976 after graduating from Queen's University Belfast. He is renowed for his gardening expertise and featured regularly as an expert panelist on the BBC radio"Gardeners Corner." He enjoys being very hands on and have overseen hundreds of exciting projects over the decades. He has five grandchildren.
Peter graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2005 with a First in Law and also studied abroad at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, USA in 2003/2004. Peter is the third successive generation and has overseen considerable growth in recent years.
Peter is responsible for the day to day running of the company as well as e-commerce. He particularly enjoys building a strong team. He is married with three young children.
John, also known as JD, is a veteran of the garden centre world with an outstanding four decades of experience. He is passionate about plants and loves seeing happy customers with full trolleys ringing through the checkout.
Geoff is a key man and is responsible for organising all incoming and outgoing deliveries including online orders. He has great attention to detail is always happy to help. He has excellent knowledge of garden furniture.
In his spare time, Geoff is a keen cyclist and thinks nothing of a 80 mile ride.
Matthew is a key man and is the 'swiss army knife' of the team. He graduated in Horticulture at Greenmount College in 2010 and has been with Mid Ulster ever since. Matthew has a great eye for design and plays a pivotal role in our instore displays and buying. His superpower is his red beard and is a big fan of Man United.
Kathleen has worked for Mid Ulster for the last five years and is a key member of our display team and buying team. She has a natural artistic flair and loves her work.
Kevin is our friendly delivery driver and is always ready to help. He loves to wear shorts year round but moves fast enough that he doesn't feel the cold.
Rebekah has been a member of our team for many years. She is studying for her degree in Economics and takes care of our customs declarations. She also makes an ace cappucino.
Carolyn is one of the main people you'll see in our gift shop. You can be guaranteed service with a smile.
Cain is a graduate of Greenmount College and is passionate about plants. He is pursuing further studies in horticulture and works for us on Saturdays and some part time hours during the week.

Terry has been a key member of our plant team for 14 years. He's also the 'go-to' man when you need something fixed. Service with a smile.
Shannon is taking a gap year from her studies and works in our office assisting with our website and general administration. She is wise beyond her years.
Martin works with our plants and he is always eager to assist you with your gardening and plant purchases. He also enjoys a good yarn.
