BUYERS NOTES
One of the most foolproof and versatile of all summer flowering annuals. They produce an abundance of colourful blooms all held proudly above a blanket of foliage. Useful for bedding and border work of any description and in particular for carpeting dry, sunny banks, as they will thrive in soils where few other plants will even live. Flowers summer to frosts.
Sowing Information:
Sow outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 20mm (in) deep, in rows 30cm (12in) apart. For Earlier Flowering: Sow seed, 1cm (¬Ωin) deep, 3 seeds per 7.5cm (3in) pot, in free draining, damp, seed compost. Place at 20-29C (68-86F) until after germination.
Growing Information:
Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost. They flower most freely in poor dryish soils and full sun.
Aftercare Information:
They flower most freely in full sun and poor dryish soils. Before planting in containers make sure they are well rooted in their pots.

Nasturtium seeds
Too early to say as I have just planted but bought from Geoff last year and the milkmaid nasturtium seeds and another variety grew fine, provided plenty for the wildlife, the bees and the caterpillars love a good munch. The caterpillars may obliterate these but if you trim away all the dead bits they will come again if still good enough weather as I did this last year. Really easy to grow your guaranteed success with these, good seeds for the kids to grow their own flowers.
