This plant seems to have it all; ferny, pretty foliage, handsome velvety flowers, and eye-catching seed-heads! Easy to grow by sowing direct into beds and borders. The deep blue colour is a welcome addition to any colour scheme!

Sowing Information:

Sow outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing. Sow 6mm (¼in) deep, in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Sow in a cool greenhouse or conservatory in late summer/early autumn. Grow on cool conditions in full light and water sparingly.

Growing Information:

When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart.
