BUYERS NOTES
An excellent late blight-resistant cherry tomato, now available for gardeners to grow outdoors in the UK. Dark green leaves remain healthy and blemish free throughout the season. Larger cherry fruits (28g) are produced on high-performing plants which will need sideshooting and support. (Cordon)
Sowing Information:
Sow seed on the surface of a good, free-draining compost and cover with about 6mm (¼in) of vermiculite or compost. Place in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and maintain at a temperature of 18-21C (65-70F) until after germination which takes 7-10 days.
Growing Information:
Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Plant outdoors once all risk of frost is passed 45cm (18in) apart. Ideally grown outdoors but can be grown in the greenhouse in individual large pots or 3 plants per growbag when plants have reached 20cm (8in) high. Plants require sideshooting and support. Water and feed plants regularly with a high potash feed once the first truss has set.
