BUYERS NOTES

Attractive smooth, golden yellow skinned with golden yellow flesh of sweet and tender taste. Best grown as a main crop as the mature tennis ball sized roots store well overwinter. The leaves can be steamed as 'greens'

Sowing Information:

Sow thinly, 1cm (1/2in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.

Growing Information:

Thin seedlings when large enough to handle to 10-15cm (4-6in) apart. For best results turnips should be grown quickly, help to achieve this by watering well at all stages. Harvest when still medium size for the best flavour. Lift mature roots as required, roots can be lifted and stored for use overwinter from the later sowings
